The URBN Summer Internship Program is an industry-leading, 10-week experience that hosts students from across the country and internationally. Our Interns have the unique opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience across a range of departments and brands with exposure to company leaders, engaging workshops/excursions and our creative & entrepreneurial culture (dogs on-campus included .)
URBN is a portfolio of global consumer brands comprised of Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, BHLDN, Terrain, Nuuly and URBN Food & Beverage. We create unique retail experiences with an eye toward creativity and a singular focus on pleasing our customer.
The 2020 Program will run from June 1st to August 7th.
ARTIST: You have a superb sense of typography, strong concepts and attention to detail and the relation to the digital medium.
Digital Graphic Design Intern Responsibilities
Create visual assets for digital marketing channels: email marketing campaign, lookbooks, site layout, mobile site, UO app, etcusing programs such as Adobe Indesign and Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac Platform.
Assist creative team with digital file preparation and trend research
Work on other digital projects as needed
Strong understanding of digital formats across screen sizes and devices
Excellent organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills
Ability to work well in a teamwork-oriented environment through strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in full adobe software suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
What to Submit
(2) GraphicDesign Layout (8.5 X 11 PDF)
Create a design (site layout, set of posters, animated webpage, suite of branding or marketing materials, etc.) that demonstrates your creativity and aligns with Urbans culture. Explain how and why this idea fits in with our brand, and how it would function. How would you help us create a stronger visual and conceptual relationship between all the different channels of our brand?
This is the creative part of the application so have fun with it!

Complete HireVue: Within 2 weeks of submitting applications, candidates will receive an email with a link to complete a HireVue Video Interview. Candidates will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.
Intern Interview Day: If you are selected for an in-person interview, you will be notified on or around November 22nd. This event will be held at our Home Office in Philadelphia on December 12th and 13th. Please tentatively hold these dates in the case that you are selected to attend. If you are unable to attend Interview Day, we will do our best to accommodate you at another time but cannot guarantee it. You MUST be selected for an interview in order to attend this recruiting event.
