For more information, visit Global Cause Partnerships Intern UNICEF USAseeks an intern for the Global Cause Partnerships (GCP) Department who will have the opportunity to learn about UNICEFs broad international development work including: global heath and immunizations, child protection, gender equity, emergency response, and more. He/she will gain experience in developing proposals, briefing notes, memos, presentations, and other critical documents, as well as gain experience in supporting large scale projects and events from start to finish. We are currently seeking unpaid interns for our fall cohort that will commence September 17, 2019 and end December 13, 2019. This internship will also provide the opportunity to: Learn about how UNICEF partners with large civil-society organizations, diaspora communities, other NGOs, and faith-based communities Represent the Global Cause Partnerships team at events and meetings Key Responsibilities/Projects: Assist in teams management of key relationships with large civil society organizations, faith-based organizations, and diaspora communities Work with the team on creating documents including presentations, proposals, briefing notes and memos that support various strategies, events and initiatives Support the team in conducting research to support strategic planning processes and prospect development Assist with planning the logistics of large conventions/events Use various tools to analyze data that will be used for strategy and decision making Qualifications: Must be a current student enrolled in a College or University degree program Interest in non-profit or related field preferred Must have strong written and oral communication skills Must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail Able to work both independently and collaboratively Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,Excel Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, social media applications and SEO best practices Must be a highly motivated team player who enthusiastically embraces the mission of UNICEF and UNICEF USA Must demonstrate UNICEF USA Core Values: Trust, Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork and Service Time Frame: Fall 2019 Days per Week: Flexible Hours per Week: 16-24 hours This is an unpaid internship.Travel stipend will be provided.
