Purpose & Objective of Position
The Partner Communications intern will manage marketing communications and event activities supporting SAP s ecosystem and partners to ensure GPO and Routes performance management indicators are met. Additionally, he/she will focus on marketing ecosystem components such as communities, partners communications platforms and online marketplaces integrating them into multi-routes to market programs.
SAP executes a multi-channel and route strategy. This includes direct sales (in collaboration with strategic and service partners), telesales, resellers, and e-commerce channels. Our customers/prospects have the option to use multiple channels (within the different routes offered) and a best-in-class service/buying strategy is a must. SAP Ecosystem and Routes Marketing Job Functions, collaborating with our partners, are responsible for delivering a best-in-class experience accelerating our business growth faster than our competitors.
Expectations & Tasks

  • Communication - Developing content for blogs and other internal and external marketing materials, making videos, flyers, Jam pages
  • Created internal/external videos from conception to execution
  • Support global team in preparation and execution of major events (SME Summit in NYC)
  • Write blogs for the President of SAP Global Partner Organization and extended team
  • Support internal communications through All-Hands events, coffee corners, articles, emails, etc.
  • Leverage internal/external network to bring the GB story to relevant, new, and existing audiences

Skills / Competencies / Qualifications

  • Profound knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent writing skills with a deep knowledge of social media execution and strategy
  • Ability to work on own initiative as part of a larger team and capable of working independently upon receiving proper instruction and guidance
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • Good interpersonal communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive team player able to work well under pressure
  • Keen interest in Partnerships as a function
  • Positive & can-do attitude, IT savvy with keen interest to learn
  • Able to thrive in a process-oriented environment with inclination to systems & tools

Educational Requirements

  • In pursuit of bachelor's degree or equivalent required in business area or relevant courses
