Day-to-day functions such as copying, printing and handling sample requests for cross-functional team members.
Assisting in prepping for important meetings such as visual floor sets, hindsight & buy presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Education: Currently in undergraduate or graduate program
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong interest in gaining knowledge and developing merchandising skillset
Intern must have Monday availability

Internal: Kids Company Store Team Buying, Design, Product Development, Production Operations, Planning, Allocation, Visual, Tech Design, etc.
Strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining deadlines
Candidate should be flexible, open to exposure to all phases of Merchandising and Retail
*Please note that applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the Fall 2019 semester. School credit is offered but not required. A candidate's application acknowledges that they will be available to intern a minimum of three full days per week throughout the duration of the program, which lasts from September 9 through December 6 (with Thanksgiving week off).
