The Head of Talent Acquisition NA is responsible for providing leadership and direction for Weber Shandwick recruiting efforts across North America, overseeing 9 direct reports and a team of 14. Thisposition will play a critical leadership role in directing and overseeing the North America recruitment strategy across the 1,800-employee base, and will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team in allareas of talent acquisition across all US offices.

Drive Functional Excellence
Oversee North America talent acquisition strategy, operations, and team, with potential for globalimpact
Run full cycle recruitment for senior-level and critical positions across Weber Shandwick
Assess and manage team structure and alignment with internal partners to drive the best results
Manage, develop and evaluate a team of recruiting professionals across the United States with the goals of earning a high level of credibility as an effective and responsive internal consulting group
Instill a customer-focused approach across the team to ensure delivery of a consistently outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience, and maximizing the teams strengths for top performance
Develop a team of high-performing recruiters and instill and model a partnership mentality across the team
Focus on diversity initiatives in recruiting, including building diverse candidate pipeline andenhancing objective, competency-based interview processes
Build Partnerships
Build strong partnerships with senior leadership across North America to develop a keen
understanding of business priorities and to provide strategic insights as a trusted advisor
Lead and engage team in effective staffing discussions with senior agency leaders and HRpartners to ensure recruiting objectives support business needs
Collaborate with the SVP, Diversity & Inclusion in the design and execution of diversityrecruitment strategy in line with Weber Shandwicks priorities
Develop and administer a campus recruiting program that ensures a steady pipeline of entry-leveltalent for the organization
Cultivate and manage an internship program as a source of ongoing talent
Design and Execute on Recruiting Strategy
Develop and implement a robust pipelining strategy for recruiting diverse, high-caliber hires
Provide thought leadership on contingent workforce strategy
Design and implement best-in-class, innovative sourcing strategies that meet business needs
(against VBC framework)
Determine and apply appropriate assessment and selection tools to drive highest quality candidateselection, including administering training for managers on interviewing and selection skills, asneeded
Assess and enhance the candidate experience; monitor feedback channels
Ensure recruiting resources are allocated to support the most critical business initiatives
Provide input into key talent-related issues such as relocation, compensation, successionplanning, and retention
Drive Operational Excellence
Assess and examine recruiting effectiveness and ensure operational excellence
Utilize data to develop and analyze key metrics to understand and improve recruitingeffectiveness
Drive vendor strategy with various recruiting partners, including job boards, search firms, andapplicant tracking systems
Oversee the efforts of employment agencies and search firms including negotiating andcontrolling employment related fees. Manage the annual recruiting budget
Develop guidelines, compliance, and best practices for how recruiting team utilizes applicanttracking software (Taleo) and other recruiting tools. Accountable for ensuring OFCCP, andWeber Shandwick process control compliance.


Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
15+ years of strategic recruiting experience leading sizeable teams in a creative, fast-paced environment
Knowledge of PR, digital marketing, and/or advertising industry strongly preferred
Proven ability to anticipate and address talent needs and develop appropriate strategies
Demonstrated ability to establish oneself as a strategic, consultative partner to executive team,and build highly effective relationships across the organization
Exhibit poise and savvy with strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Deep expertise in recruiting best practices, with a focus on diversity
Fluent in the digital and social networking space
