Temp to hire HR Assistant

Pay $16 18/hr

Media firm in Midtown Manhattan seeking a junior HR Assistant on a temp to hire basis. Supporting a HR Director and working in conjunction with the Recruiter to provide daily administrative and recruiting support.

Duties

  • Support full cycle recruiting process.
  • Organize personnel files, complete immigration forms/including copies/handling mailings, coordinate information gathering for immigration process
  • Assist with benefits open enrollment / 401k / life insurance etc
  • New hire orientation assistance (coordination of packets, updating materials & conducting temp/intern orientations)
  • Tracking performance appraisal forms
  • Coordinating internal and external job postings
  • Qualifications

    Experience Required

  • Minimum 6 months HR experience (prior internships acceptable)
  • Interest in working in media
  • BA Degree in Human Resources or similar discipline
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a flexible attitude to work with a wide population of internal employees and external vendors and clients
  • Outstanding organizational skills and good follow through abilities
  • Must be very proficient with MS Office, Taleo, Peoplesoft and knowledge of various ATS
