Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:EVINS is looking for dynamic and motivated interns for our Fall 2019 Internship program. This mentorship is designed to guide the participant during their transition from academia to the professional arena. The internship will provide an environment in which they will grow, develop, and enhance professional working skills in a collaborative, innovative, and fun work atmosphere. During this time they will put their knowledge & skills into action, and concurrently prepare for a potential full-time position on our team, based on performance and agency availability at the time. This is a fantastic opportunity for seniors or recent college graduates passionately seeking a career in PR, Marketing, and Brand Development.The Interns will work in one of our four groups (detailed below) to assist in supporting that division??s clients:Food, Wine & Spirits: The team works with various products but also with restaurants, chefs, mixologists, caterers, and on industry events.Lifestyle: This division includes, but is not limited to fashion, accessories, beauty, clubs & spas, technology, residences, and architecture & design.Travel & Hospitality: This division includes, but is not limited to: hotels and resorts, private and commercial aviation, spas and restaurants.Digital: This group crosses over all of our divisions as well as works with EVINS itself as a brand.RESPONSIBILITIES:Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:- Drafting press materials (press releases, memos, and targeted pitches)- Coordinate deliveries to key media contacts at top print and broadcast outlets- Compiling press kits and media lists- Clipping and copying essential press clippings- Assist the teams with client reporting and budgeting, strategic planning, product mailings, and follow up- Participating in office brainstorms- Assisting with event production and staffing- Internet research and data mining- Assist in creating gifting items- General administrative supportREQUIREMENTS:- Seniors or recent college graduates holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field- Must have a love for writing, and enjoy creative brainstorming- Professional verbal and written communication skills- Personable and outgoing style with a knack for proactive problem-solvingSDL2017
