These opportunities will promote utility industry awareness, growth, and identification of top talent for future employment. The summer internship is not to exceed 40 hours a week.Under general supervision, support the Digital Content Management group and Lead Information Strategist with Enterprise Content Management Program initiatives.Essential Job DutiesResearch best practices for initiatives such as:Developer PortalChange ManagementSearch OptimizationContent ModelingTaxonomy ImplementationIntranetDocumentation of business processesAssist ERCOT web team with managing and publishing ERCOT.com contentAssist in application testingHelp with logistics such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, etc.Job CompetenciesCollaborationCustomer FocusFunctional/Technical SkillsCommunication: Oral and WrittenEducationApplicants should be pursuing a bachelor s or graduate-level degree in Web Programming, Research skills, or Technical Writing.Work Experience PreferredExperience using a Content Management System.Demonstrate ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision in a team environment.Strong organization skills with emphasis on being conscientious and detail-oriented.Familiarity with standards and best practices in Web development, information architecture, typography and user experience design.Good knowledge of HTML skills desired.Proficient in creating and edit images using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Fireworks.Experience creating low fidelity wireframes desired.Preferred work schedule of the intern:40 hours a week / Monday Friday 8AM - 5PMMust be available to work onsite Interns will not be eligible for remote work.May 28, 2019 August 9, 2019 Our summer internship program is a paid learning experience targeting primarily for students who have a GPA of 3.0 or better and who have at least completed their sophomore year.
