We strive daily to imaginatively challenge convention with innovative technology that gives consumers the freedom to access content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.Responsibilities:A Day in the Life...Analyze and track the competitive marketplace for sports broadcasters and emerging sports streaming platforms, with a focus toward branded communications and brand positioningCollaborate with Acquisition and Lifecycle marketing teams to ensure ESPN+ brand consistency across consumer touchpointsInterface with Disney Streaming Services and ESPN marketing teams to evaluate performance of brand-specific marketing campaignsWork with ESPN+ business unit to assist with development of brand marketing, event marketing, and sport-specific marketing campaignsDevelop and execute market research plans for key strategic segmentsDevelop reporting and analysis frameworks based on business Key Performance IndicatorsAssist with development and maintenance of brand style guides for distribution to internal and external partnersBasic Qualifications:What we are looking for Direct experience in a marketing, strategy, or business operations roleHigh degree of comfort and proficiency working with large data sets and building presentations for business leadersProcess-oriented with a strong attention to detailStrong proficiency with language, including written and verbal communicationsBasic understanding of digital communications and advertising channels and technologiesAdaptable, can embrace both change and ambiguity while continuing to drive projects forwardHigh degree of comfort and proficiency working with large data sets and building presentations for business leadersSelf-starter with a bias toward collaborative problem-solvingPreferred Qualifications:Media/Entertainment Industry ExperienceSports Marketing ExperienceMarketing Agency / Marketing Platform ExperiencePrevious competitive and market research experienceRequired EducationMust currently be enrolled in an MBA program and taking at least one class OR be a recent graduate (Dec 2019) of an MBA program.Preferred EducationMBA from a top-tier UniversityAdditional Information:Internship Eligibility:Must be enrolled in an MBA program taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR a Dec 2019 graduate of an MBA program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship while enrolled in an MBA programProfessional Internship:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.Must possess unrestricted work authorizationMust provide full work availability during Program Length (listed below)Must provide own transportation to/from workCurrent Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months) * The salary listed in the header is an estimate based on salary data for similar jobs in the same area.
