Overview Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2020 Intern in our Human Resources department who is eager to work with and learn from the best in the industry. This year, our HR Interns will have the opportunity to support a variety of HR disciplines, including, but not limited to, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Payroll. Responsibilities Work closely with the HR Leadership team to discuss key initiatives Work proactively with other team members to achieve departmental goals Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects Assist HRIS Administrators with HR system administration and preparation for performance management program Assist with special research projects Qualifications General Requirements Must be enrolled in a college or university working toward a bachelors degree in: Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during the entire co-op period beginning in late January 2020 and ending in early August 2020 Must be commutable to and from the Rockleigh, NJ area for the duration of the co-op period Technical Skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite, in particular Publisher, PowerPoint, Word and Excel Other Skills: Must be responsible, self-motivated, creative, have a solid work ethic and have a desire to produce a quality product Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate work at different levels of the organization Strong problem-solving skills Inquisitive individual with a "student mentality" possessing a long term desire to work in the Human Resources space Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously Positive, personable, and able to work cohesively with other across various divisions Benefits We have new onsite state of the art fitness and wellness centers at our Headquarters in Rockleigh, NJ.
