CAI is looking for a Junior Java Developer to join the team at our Southpointe office in Canonsburg for the development, implementation and support for our client's Enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, documents, codes, tests, and deploys software to support the software development life cycle.
  • May develop prototypes and solutions using a diverse range of technologies.
  • Apply modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes support the launch of new business capabilities.
  • Ensures that decisions are made to improve the overall customer service quality and support is continually carried through.
  • Coordinates training requirements.
  • Provides leadership by projecting a positive attitude and providing learning incentives. Accurately communicates pertinent information.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of quality improvement programs.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • At least 1 year of JAVA development experience. Internship experience is sufficient.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design
  • Innovative, self-motivated, energetic and strive for continuous improvement
  • Experience in developing software solutions for concurrent, multi-thread transaction system
  • Knowledge and experience with all aspects of the software development life cycle and development process as a team member of large IT projects
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
