Carrier Enterprise is a joint venture between Watsco, Inc. and Carrier Corporation. Carrier Enterprise sells and distributes Carrier, Bryant and Payne residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, parts and supplies throughout the United States, Latin America and Caribbean utilizing 110 locations in 20 states and Puerto Rico. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Engineer.
* Support the grow of air distribution product sales through plan & spec take-offs, product selections, and pricing to customers
* Use standard office means to track projects to bid and bidding customers.
* Generate scopes with BOM for bidding customers
* Maintain productive relationships with customers, engineers, and the sales force through project and technical information
* Maintain pre and post bid project files, helping to close the sale
* Support and communicate with the sales force on project documentation and order write up information
* Help maintain pre and post sales job files.
Education & Experience:
* AA/AS degree with 3-5+ years experience
* BA/BS degree with 1-3+ years experience
* Demonstrated performance history and knowledge of the HVAC industry
* Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction required from management
* High sense of urgency and strong communication/interpersonal skills
* Prior HVAC experience and/or internship experience in sales or marketing highly preferred
* PC and common software literacy required
