We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic intern to assist and shadow the Accounting team located in our New York City headquarters for the Fall of 2019. This internship will contribute to a variety of ongoing billing initiatives that will provide excellent customer service experience. Specifically, this intern will focus on the collections process, by reaching out to Captivate s valued partners to support and resolve billing issues. This is a great internship for someone who has experience with a variety of computer systems/tools and is looking to gain exposure to a fast-paced, advertising technology environment.
What You ll Do:
Provide support to the Senior Accountant by monitoring, expediting, tracking and recording the collections of outstanding invoices
Aide the accounting team by actively emailing and or calling customers via phone
Follow up with Captivate s top customers weekly through multiple touch-points
Transfer and record information from invoices to our CRM (NetSuite)
Ensure that high level of customer service is maintained
Must be enrolled in a bachelor s program with successful completion of at least your sophomore year
A desire to learn more about business operations in the emerging digital media industry
Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Outlook and CRM database upkeep skills
Excellent verbal, listening and writing skills with careful attention-to-detail
A positive, proactive attitude with the desire to dive into new projects
Intellectual curiosity and creativity
