Armstrong Flooring s Finance and Accounting teams are committed to providing world-class leadership to drive profitable growth and industry-leading shareholder return. We are seeking motivated and talented college seniors and recent graduates for our Finance Professional Development Program. The goal of this development program is to cultivate well-rounded finance professionals.

Our Finance Professional Development Program offers participants highly visible positions while preparing them to contribute within Armstrong Flooring s most critical finance functions.

Location: 2500 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17604


How you ll contribute to the team:

Incorporating 9-month assignments over the course of 3 years, the program provides participants an outstanding opportunity to produce results, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong company network. Program rotations are located at our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, PA and one rotation at one of our U.S. manufacturing locations.

You will experience challenging rotations, structured learning, formalized feedback and mentoring. The program provides exposure to senior finance and business leaders, and immediate opportunities to add significant value and make an immediate impact on our business.

Rotation areas include:

  • Audit
  • Treasury
  • Tax
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Corporate Controllers
  • Manufacturing Finance

After completing the program, you'll work closely with the Program Managers and your mentor to identify positions and career paths that meet your interests to advance your career at Armstrong Flooring.

Requirements

What you'll bring to the table:

  • College seniors, early career professionals and Junior Military Officers
  • Bachelor s degree by May 2020 in any of the following programs: Accounting degree, Finance degree, or Economics degree
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and completion of at least 2 college-level accounting courses
  • Flexibility to do a rotation in one of our U.S. manufacturing facilities during the program
  • Prior internship in finance or accounting
  • Leadership experience through involvement in student organizations or community service
  • Demonstrate strong skills in communication, interpersonal relations and teamwork
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling skills
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls is a plus
  • Have a natural curiosity, knack for analysis and problem solving, and the drive to roll up your sleeves and get things done
